The HortiFoodTrends Writing School took place from Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6!
Throughout the week, participants focused on improving their scientific writing, publishing, and communication skills. The aim was not only to produce high-quality papers for top journals but also to learn how to communicate their research more clearly — both within the scientific community and with stakeholders and policy makers.
We were proud to welcome our inspiring speakers: Michael Bom Frøst (University of Copenhagen), Sara Jaeger (Aarhus University; Chief Editor, Food Quality and Preference), and Marianne Bom (Communication Advisor and Science Journalist, Publicer). Their expertise and insights greatly enriched the sessions and inspired everyone involved.
The Writing School brought together 18 students from Poland, France, and Denmark — forming a vibrant international group eager to exchange ideas and share experiences.
Among the organizers and observers were Monika Mieszczakowska-Frąc, Dorota Konopacka, Katarzyna Hołownicka, Ania Wrzodak, Justyna Szwejda-Grzybowska, and Sebastian Siarkowski from InHort, along with Ronan Symoneaux from ESA.
It was a week full of learning, creativity, and collaboration — an inspiring start to March!
