Katarzyna Hołownicka and Adam Kaźmierczak from INHORT Project Office took part in the UCPH Open Days 2025, held from May 19 to 21 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event gathered research support professionals and project managers from across Europe to exchange best practices and strengthen collaboration in EU-funded research initiatives.
The three-day programme featured a wide range of sessions, including practical insights into research support at the University of Copenhagen, strategies for motivating researchers to coordinate Horizon Europe projects, and hands-on discussions on research data management and proposal preparation.
Katarzyna contributed to a session on supporting EU grant applications by presenting on how advanced researchers can mentor early-stage applicants. Her input emphasized the importance of institutional peer support and tailored guidance for successful funding proposals.
Adam Kaźmierczak also participated actively in the event, joining the session focused on intellectual property rights and business models. He delivered a presentation exploring how the market impact of European project outcomes can be enhanced, offering practical approaches to better integrate research with industry needs and societal benefits.
The Open Days concluded with thematic discussion groups, giving participants the opportunity to exchange experiences on issues such as SSH integration, attracting MSCA fellows, and building robust post-award support systems.
